New York Aquarium

Not long ago, my son became curious about watching fish in an aquarium. We decided to visit the New York Aquarium with the whole family. And I can say right away that it was amazing.

As it turned out, the first aquarium in New York was in Battery Park and was opened on December 10, 1896. And at that time, the aquarium had about 150 animals. In 1941, the aquarium was closed due to a tunnel construction project. It reopened in 1957, in Brooklyn. Where it is now. Presently, the New York Aquarium amazes with its scale. At the moment, its area is 14 acres of land and has more than 8000 different kinds of marine animals. Penguins and sea lions, sharks and crabs that are more than a hundred years old, stingrays and seahorses, jellyfish and moray eels, all this and much more you can see there. There is a huge number of different fish that fascinate you with their shapes and colors. It is easy to lose track of time watching the inhabitants. The pleasant atmosphere is very conductive to enjoying what you see. The aquarium also hosts seasonal events, such as penguin feeding or sea lion shows.

I recommend visiting the New York Aquarium, it is a wonderful and interesting place for all people of all ages. I am sure that I will go there again with my family. Excellent impressions are guaranteed. Enjoy…
